This is a different product from a wireless CarPlay dongle. A dongle converts an existing wired CarPlay connection to wireless. If your car already has factory CarPlay and you just want to cut the cable, a dongle does that job. If your car has no CarPlay at all, a dongle won’t help — you need a proper retrofit module.

Warranty

In the US, the Magnuson-Moss Warranty Act means a dealership can’t blanket-void your vehicle warranty just because you installed an aftermarket module.
